Zonta’s Flag Raising Ceremony
The Zonta Club of Toowoomba Area Inc. invites you to join us for a Flag Raising Ceremony on 10th December 2014- Human Rights Day- to mark the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to endorse Toowoomba & Zonta ‘ Says No to Violence’.
Flags of Australia, the United Nations & Zonta will be raised in solidarity to pledge and uphold the spirit of ‘16 Days of Activism’ which begins on 25th November with White Ribbon Day and ends with Human Rights Day. The 16 Days brings awareness to eliminate violence against women and promote the basic rights and freedom for all humans. Please support this free community event.
