The Mary Magee Award was introduced in 2021 to acknowledge the commitment and achievements of Past Zonta International President and member of the Zonta Club of Brisbane Inc member of Mary Magee OAM particularly her passion for membership and establishing new Zonta Clubs in Australia and overseas.

Congratulations to our three recipients of the Award for this Biennium:

The 2022-2024 Mary Magee Award was presented to Marie Stewart, Zonta Club of Redcliffe Inc for her efforts in seeking to establish numbers of Z and Golden Z Clubs across Brisbane.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2025

Our 2025 District Conference is over and what a weekend it was. Our hosts, the Zonta Club of Mount Isa, really looked after us from the meet and greet at the airport on arrival to the final farewell. The organisation was exemplary. A very big thank you to the Conference Chairman, Sue Wicks, and everyone involved - you did an amazing job.

Whilst we all returned a few kilograms heavier the weekend was not all about food and having fun! The program was interesting with great speakers and interactive workshops. Where possible reports on these or speech notes are being progressively added to the District Conference webpage. We remembered Zontians we have lost this past biennium through a very moving Memorial Service.
