Forming a New Golden Z Club

Members Ans Van Erp, Marrissa Moore and Cherriee Ludemann attended a Club Sign-On stall at Griffith University Gold Coast Campus on 15 March and engaged with students interested in joining the new Golden Z Club. Thirty-four signatures were registered on the Expressions of Interest form from both young men and women and are being followed up to create the fourth Golden Z Club in Australia. We look forward to welcoming this club into the family of District 22.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
