Zonta Rockhampton YWPA Award due date for applications is 16th February

The date for the close of applications for the Zonta Rockhampton Young Women in Public Affairs Award is Friday 16th February 2018.

This Award is open to young women who are aged 16 to 19 years on 01 April 2018 and live, study or work in the Central Region. Applications are to be received by the Zonta Club of Rockhampton by Friday 16^th February 2018. At club level, all applicants will receive a Certificate of Participation and the winner will receive a Certificate and a $500 cheque. Application Form and Poster are attached.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
