A great start to ZSN Campaign for the Rockhampton Club

A great start has been made by the Rockhampton Club for the Zonta Says NO 16 days of Activism Campaign which commenced on the 25th November. Displays in Rockhampton and Yeppoon libraries and ZSN Banners on main highways leading from both city centres, have been put in place by the Advocacy Committee members. A special thanks to Jan, Jenny and Cara who have been particularly busy, setting up the eye catching displays and hanging banners. Lots of information is available for those in need of support and those who know of someone who may need support.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
