Zonta Awards for female students at CQUniversity
The Zonta Club of Rockhampton offers three awards annually to female students at CQUniversity.
Our club has been offering academic prizes at CQUniversity since 1985 and has a policy of supporting courses with low female enrolment, currently, Engineering and Information Technology.
The Zonta Club of Rockhampton also supports females undertaking the STEPS course, which offers students who have, for one reason or another, not been able to complete their Secondary studies in earlier years. This course is designed to support if the student is
- returning to study after some time away or
- needs to meet entry requirements for the desired degree.
