The Club again hosted a very successful “Paint the Bayside Orange” Breakfast to start our 2022 Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women campaign. Our guests enjoyed a hot plated breakfast whilst listening to our special guest speaker Ms Vanessa Fowler OAM, Chair of the Allison Baden-Clay Foundation and Co-Chair of the Queensland Government Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence Council

District 22 CONFERENCE 2025

Mt Isa club are delighted to be the hosts of District 22 conference 12-14 September 2025. They are already well advanced in planning and the venue will be confirmed soon. There will be an amazing social program incorporating the best of Mt Isa attractions – the Isa Amphitheatre with mine tours, the historic Underground hospital and Tent House and a visit to the Uranium mine are all on the program. We hope the memorial service will be especially poignant at the Miner’s church which commemorates the towns history.

A range of accommodation options are available with special rates being negotiated including caravan parks and cabins and hotels. Local members will be offering billets for those interested in a home away from home.

So start planning for a few days in Mt Isa now- perhaps do a road trip to see the outback and stay awhile. Travel with friends and make fabulous memories on the way. If flying keep an eye out for flight deals.
