Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award (formerly the Young Women in Public Affairs Award) recognises young women aged 16 – 19 for demonstrating leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes. the award is aimed at encouraging them to continue their participation in public and political life.
We will present the award for the Zonta Club of Wynnum Redland Inc and listen to our keynote speaker Beth Mohle RN talk about her life as a midwife and leader.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2025

I am excited to announce some of our main speakers:

Darryl Gardiner from “Rolling with the Punches” – You can hear his story on Compass episode” Tough, not Toxic “ September 2024 and will find him on Facebook.

Aaron Schultz from “Outback Mind Foundation”- check his great website, podcasts and Facebook page.

They will do a short keynote each and then engage with a panel of our male members to discuss Male socialization, it’s toxic effect on men and their mental health, and the intersectionality with violence. Most importantly how can we encourage more good men to stand with us to change this dynamic. They will also do workshops – more information later.

There will be another workshop on Active Advocacy.

Our district 2024 YWPA and JMK winners will be speaking.

The Mt Isa club have organised an amazing social program with a true local experience promised. We hope to see you there.
