IWD 2023 Breakfast – Bundaberg

International Women’s Day is about celebrating women and their achievements. The Zonta Club of Bundaberg is hosting their annual IWD breakfast on Sunday 5th March 2023 at Rowers on the River. (7.30am for 8.00am start)

The theme of the 2023 International Women’s Day Breakfast is Build a Better World for Women and Girls.

Come along for a fun and interactive morning. Don’t forget the famous Zonta continuous raffle. We have some awesome prizes again this year.

Our local guest speakers will speak from a local perspective on how they have made a better world for women and girls.

Our keynote guest speaker is Emeritus Professor Huntly who recently retired after 41years working within the Queensland education sector, the last 30 of years in the tertiary sector with CQUniversity. In her 30 years of service to CQUniversity, Helen held various learning and teaching, and management roles, the most recent prior to her retirement as the Vice-President, Academic, heading up the largest division within the university. Professor Huntly was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her services to tertiary education in Central Queensland. Hear more about Helen’s Journey and her contribution to build a better world for girls and women.
