Zonta Business Luncheon with best selling author Alice Greenup

Alice Greenup, the bestselling biographical author of “Educating Alice” was our guest speaker on the 4th September for our Zonta Business Luncheon. Her remarkable story was shared by women in the Toowoomba area at the Middle Ridge Golf Club. The Toowoomba Chronicle & Highlife gave excellent media coverage.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2025

Mt Isa club are delighted to be the hosts of District 22 conference 12-14 September 2025. They are already well advanced in planning and the venue will be confirmed soon. There will be an amazing social program incorporating the best of Mt Isa attractions – the Isa Amphitheatre with mine tours, the historic Underground hospital and Tent House and a visit to the Uranium mine are all on the program. We hope the memorial service will be especially poignant at the Miner’s church which commemorates the towns history.

A range of accommodation options are available with special rates being negotiated including caravan parks and cabins and hotels. Local members will be offering billets for those interested in a home away from home.
