Rockhampton Club dinner to end the year.

Although there was only a small group of us last evening for our Christmas dinner meeting, we enjoyed a very pleasant evening. The evening began with fellowship. This was followed by a short meeting and an à la carte dinner in The Stirling restaurant. Catherine was declared the winner of the quiz and as requested, Trish had done her homework and had put together lyrics about Zonta, which were to be sung to the tune of Jingle Bells. The ‘choir’ of six, who gave a very presentable rendition of the song, are to be commended and I’m sure we will be singing this song into the future. After a very enjoyable meal and much talking, we all went home with a very small gift from under the tree. Our thanks to Valda for organizing the celebration. We wish all Zontians a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and safe travel during the holidays.
