High Tea a very successful event for Rockhampton Club

The High Tea which was held at the North Rockhampton State High School Trade Centre today was a huge success. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the event. Two students who will be performing in the coming school musical, ‘Little Mermaid’, gave a beautiful rendition of two of the songs from the musical. Guests also enjoyed viewing a parade of the latest in fashion featuring hats, shoes, handbags and jewellery by Suna, the local shoe and accessories shop. A High Tea of the most delicious food produced by the students of the Hospitality Centre, accompanied the musical items and fashion parade. A big thank you to the students who performed and to Wanda from Suna Shoes for volunteering their time and expertise for our High Tea. Thank you to Trish who, as usual, was a great Emcee. Thank you to Valda, the Convenor of the event, for her great organizational skills.

Thanks to all members who donated raffle prizes and to members who gained raffle prizes in sponsorship towards our fundraising event today. The raffle was very successful.
All our guests enjoyed the High Tea, where, once again, there was a wonderful selection of food on display. Hard to decide what to choose. Three servings of amazing food. We congratulate the staff and pupils of the NRSHS on contributing to the success of this event.
Suna had an amazing selection of shoes, bags and hats on show today and we thank Wanda from Suna and our models, members Karen and Anna, and our guest models, Glenda and Remy for doing the parade today.
A special thanks to our members who attended today. Without you, we could not have run this successful event which went smoothly and also allowed us to spend time with our guests. A very important aspect of any event, I believe.
