Applications called for JM Klausman Award
Applications for the 2016 JM Klausman Award are now being called for by the Zonta Club of Rockhampton.
To encourage more women to pursue education and careers in business, Zonta International established the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship. Twelve (12) international scholarships of US$7,000 each and up to 32 district/region scholarships of US$1,000 each are awarded each year.
Since the program’s inception, Zonta has awarded 441 Scholarships, totalling more than US$1 million, to 335 women from 50 countries.
This Award is open to women of any age, pursuing a business or business related program, who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field and are living or studying in a Zonta District. Applications are to be received by the Zonta Club of Rockhampton by 1st June 2016. At club level, all applicants will receive a Certificate of Participation and the winner will receive a Certificate and a $500 cheque.
