Zonta Club of Warwick’s 25 year Anniversary celebrations

Celebrations for Zonta Club of Warwick’s 25 year Anniversary having been chartered in 1997. We were fortunate to have two of our original charter members sharing the day in Mary Goyne and Bernadette Carey, as well as guests from our local service clubs, Allora Scope and Days 4 Girls. A sumptuous was lunch served at Belle Vue Cafe

We were delighted to have as guest speaker such a senior Zontian in Sandy Ven Brown. Sandy has been elected to the Zonta International board for the next biennium 2022 – 2024 We really enjoyed the story Sandy delivered. Her achievements are an inspiration, and we were thrilled to have had her help us celebrate our silver anniversary.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
