Zonta Centennial Celebrations @ Beaudesert

The Zonta Club of Beaudesert Area Inc. celebrated the Zonta Centennial in style at the Beaudesert Cup at the Beaudesert Racetrack on Saturday 22^nd of June. The Club sponsored the fourth race of the day, The Zonta Centennial Benchmark 58 Handicap and enjoyed the company of 76 guests for their Centennial Celebrations. The Orange ladies kept an eye the proceedings of the day

Zonation’s and Guests celebrated with guest District Governor Sandra ‘Venn Brown and husband Steve Platt.

The tables were adorned with Centennial placemats and bottles of wine as a prize to the guest who was sitting at the lucky seat at each table. Small orange ladies promoted both yes and no campaigns of Zontia International.

Guests enjoyed the sumptuous Country luncheon from Aquis Beaudesert Race Club, and soaked up the glorious winters day , with the spectacle of the fashions on the field and the horses galloping past the winning post.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
