District 22 CONFERENCE 2025

District conference update January 2025

I hope everyone has the dates marked on their calendars, September 12-14^th 2025.

I can confirm that the IBIS hotel will be the conference hotel where the board is staying. They will hold a number of additional rooms at discounted rates (10% off rack rate) until the month before or when fully booked. CONTACT the hotel directly by phone or email to reserve these rooms State Zonta District Conference Phone 07 4743 3024 or email. Credit card needed to reserve.

Registration and credentialling will be open Friday afternoon at the Civic Centre with the First Timers session planned for later in the afternoon. Consider your travel plans now to allow arrival for the full experience.

Welcome function will be at the Isa Amphitheatre from 5pm with partners’ welcome. Tours of the Underground Mine and museum included.

The Saturday evening function is planned for the Underground Hospital /Tent House museum complex, tours included. Entertainment is booked and the local club promises a fantastic night. This will be a ticketed event with partners’ welcome.

After the conference closes Sunday, option for lunch included; there will be an opportunity to travel by bus to the Mary Kathleen Uranium Mine and still be back for the flight back to Brisbane that evening.
