Remarkable Women of the Granite Belt Exhibition at the Stanthorpe Art Gallery.

Jenny and Janet from the Zonta Club of Warwick attended the Remarkable Women of the Granite Belt Exhibition at the Art Gallery in Stanthorpe. A superb undertaking by the Zonta Club of Stanthorpe to collate all information provided from nominations, stories and photographs of these incredible women. It contributed immensely to the overall exhibition. 12 Stanthorpe female artists were also featured in the exhibition. The Indigenous art work of Jen Martin below. District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
