International Women’s Day

What an inspiring International Women’s Day talk our guest speaker Dierdre Davis presented. In 2010 when visiting Brazil, she became aware of efforts in Nepal to rescue and bring healing to girls who had been trafficked to other countries.
Deidre gave an expose of the magnitude of the human trafficking in Nepal and her role in the rehabilitation of those victims through the organization “The Apple of God’s Eyes
She and her husband  Professor Jim  Patrick also have a personal involvement in:
• A school for hundreds in Kathmandu
• A bus that takes medical and dental treatment free of charge to remote villages.
• A trafficking prevention program which enables protection of children at risk of being trafficked in many districts in Nepal, by keeping them in school.
It is truly wonderful work they are doing.
