Guest Speaker October Meeting

The Club welcomed the Officer in Charge Morningside Police Station, Dave Brummer.  to speak to members at our October monthly meeting. Dave spoke of the varied work of the officers of his station and in particular the wok around youth crime and domestic and family violence and the changes to policing required to provide the support and assistance required to address these issue and changing legislation.  He happily answered many questions from member.

Dave also expressed his gratitude to the club for the “safe room” nearing completion at the Police Station and the impact this will have on the women and children being interviewed and providing their statement because of D&FV.
