Carina Police Station “Safe Room”

Today we officially finished the refurbishment of the Safe Room at the Carina Police Station.  Contrasted to the original room used (see photo below) we now have a welcoming area for women and children to speak with the police when providing statements or seeking support.  The refurbishment was enabled with support from the Carina Leagues Club and Bunnings Rocklea and we thank them for this assistance.  We also thank Club President Susan and member Lesley who led this project and our painter Terry.

This Safe Room is our second in our area and we are now looking forward to a third
