Amelia Earhart Bursary for year 12 Students living in Caloundra area

The Zonta Club of Caloundra City Inc offers a Bursary of $1000 to girls in Year 12 who are planning to study science, engineering, mathematics or aeronautical studies at tertiary level in 2014. The Bursaries are awarded annually and may be used at any University or College.

Applications for the bursary need to be received by the 29^th November 2013. These will be assessed by a panel and suitable applicants will be asked to attend an interview in December. Evidence of Year 12 results and awards will need to be provided at interview.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
