9th Annual Paint the Bayside Orange Breakfast

Zonta Brisbane East Inc hosted the 9th Annual Paint the Bayside Orange Breakfast as part of it Zonta Says NO to Violence campaign. About 80 guests attended the function at the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club. Guest Speaker was Ms Sarnia Ralston, Queensland Manager NAPCAN, who spoke on the LOVEBiTES program which the Club supports by funding the training of facilitators to conduct the program in local high schools.

Many thanks to Ms Joan Pease MP, Shadow Minister for Small Business and Shadow Minister for Customer Service and Open Data who has joint sponsored and supported this breakfast since it inception and to Councillor for the Wynnum Ward Alex Givney for attending. Thanks also to our guests who generously bought raffle tickets.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2025

Mt Isa club are delighted to be the hosts of District 22 conference 12-14 September 2025. They are already well advanced in planning and the venue will be confirmed soon. There will be an amazing social program incorporating the best of Mt Isa attractions – the Isa Amphitheatre with mine tours, the historic Underground hospital and Tent House and a visit to the Uranium mine are all on the program. We hope the memorial service will be especially poignant at the Miner’s church which commemorates the towns history.

A range of accommodation options are available with special rates being negotiated including caravan parks and cabins and hotels. Local members will be offering billets for those interested in a home away from home.
