Thank you Afternoon Tea for our HonZons

Yesterday we hand a wonderful afternoon tea to thank the many HonZons and volunteers who help us raise the funds necessary for our service projects. Special guests were Anna, the Breast Care Nurse from Mater Private who spoke of how her patients appreciated the Zonta Breast Care Cushions and drainage bags we supply (over 500 per year) and Anna, one of our young scholarship winners who talked about how the scholarship had assisted her with her Bachelor of Nursing Studies and of her experience when she had a one month field placement in Nepal. We also took the opportunity to present HonZon Badges and Certificates to Lesley Solar and Robert Fromm to thank them for their assistance to the Club. Thank you to all attended and to Jo and Jill who organised the event.
