New Board Installed

Last Monday was a special meeting night with our AGM and normal meeting. We were very happy to welcome our DG22 Ans Van Erp to our meeting and invited Ans to install our Club Board for 2018-2019. Congratulations to Lyn Papa, our incoming President and her Board and best wishes for a great year. Treasurer Bronwyn and Directors Lynn and Kirten were apologies for the meeting and will be installed in June. To outgoing President Jo Diessel and her Board many thanks for all you have done during your term of office.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
