Birthing Kit Assembly Day – Brisbane River Club

Did you know that every 90 seconds a woman dies of complications related to pregnancy and childbirth?

You’re invited to help us assemble 1200 birthing kits which will be distributed to women in developing countries to provide a “clean” and safe delivery for women who have little or no assistance during childbirth.

Kits include a plastic sheet, soap, gloves, sterile scalpel blade, three cords and gauze squares.

No special skills required – all help greatly appreciated.
