Essential Packs for Women’s Shelter

Zontians and volunteers from NAB met at Elizabeth’s home on Saturday to assemble 80 Essential Packs which will be delivered to the Women’s Shelter in Rockhampton. The packs contain toiletries for the women entering the Shelter. The working bee was organized by Jenny, Chair of Service. Some of the items packed were donated by the staff at NAB and we thank them for their contribution. Many thanks to Jenny and the ‘workers’. Thank you also to Elizabeth for the use of her home as the meeting place and also to Elizabeth and Jenny for the very delicious morning tea. It is very much appreciated. As usual, there was time for chatting when the work was done.
