Club Recognition

Club members were proud to receive Certificates of Recognition at the Nice 2016 Zonta International Convention. Denise Conroy presented the Certificates at our July Monthly Meeting. We received a Bronze Certificates from ZI for achieving a membership growth of 5 members in the Biennium and a Certificate from the Foundation recognising our Club contributions to the Foundation International Service and Awards programs.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2025

Mt Isa club are delighted to be the hosts of District 22 conference 12-14 September 2025. They are already well advanced in planning and the venue will be confirmed soon. There will be an amazing social program incorporating the best of Mt Isa attractions – the Isa Amphitheatre with mine tours, the historic Underground hospital and Tent House and a visit to the Uranium mine are all on the program. We hope the memorial service will be especially poignant at the Miner’s church which commemorates the towns history.

A range of accommodation options are available with special rates being negotiated including caravan parks and cabins and hotels. Local members will be offering billets for those interested in a home away from home.

So start planning for a few days in Mt Isa now- perhaps do a road trip to see the outback and stay awhile. Travel with friends and make fabulous memories on the way. If flying keep an eye out for flight deals.
