Breast Cushion Working Bee

A successful working bee was held at Margaret Olive’s business premises Patchwork Paradise on Saturday 16^th August to cut out approximately 150 Breast Care Cushions. The group included Judie, Meredith, Karen, Suzan and was led by Deanne who very expertly organized everyone. The cushions will be completed at a future working bee when members will sew and stuff them for distribution to the Breast Care nurse for distribution to women who have undergone breast surgery. Many thanks to Elizabeth, who for many years has been responsible for the attractive wrapping and presentation of the cushions.  Hundreds of cushions have been made since the club commenced the project in July 2000.
